From Atlanta we headed to Jonesborough to visit my friend and the National Story Telling Center. It turned out to be the homeland of the Matlock's Wright's and Crosses. From here they would head to Missouri before the Civil War. But not only did I have ancestors here I had a living relative - my first cousin, Larry Lambdin and his family. We visited his bakery - Yummy Cakes. His step daughter is the baker. We visited Buffalo Ridge and Muddy Creek Cemeteries.
